The Settle
The Settle is our newly built inside space at the EcoPod Holiday site. The settle is heated by the sun and protected from the wind; creating an area ideal for running engaging and immersive workshops in a serene, back-to-nature environment. The Settle is large enough for groups of 20 people.

Looking for an exciting way to kickstart your weekend? We’ve got a range of prebooked activities that are perfect for everyone, whether you’re young or young at heart! Choose from a variety of outdoor and creative experiences that will make your weekend truly special:
Orienteering
A beginner and family-friendly on-site adventure to teach you navigation skills in the great outdoors. We offer two courses:
- Beginner Course: Set in our 2-acre ecopod field, ideal for families with young children.
- Intermediate Course: Explore a 150-acre farm for a more challenging experience.
Price: £30 per group or family (2-4 people)
Availability: Saturday or Sunday, 9am – 12pm
Crafting
Join our seasonal hands-on workshops where you can create unique items inspired by the current season. Use naturally produced and foraged materials sourced locally to craft something special to take home.
Price: £20 per person
Availability: Saturday mornings, 9am – 11pm
Bushcraft
Learn various fire-starting techniques, from traditional to modern methods. Once you’ve mastered the skills, you’ll use your self-made fire to cook your own lunch using a skillet. Great for groups and families wanting to learn how to build and ignite fires for an alfresco meal. Feel free to bring ingredients to cook over your fire!

Cycling
Explore local trails with a leisurely bike ride! We offer bike hire for both children and adults to ride the beautiful local routes, including the Churnet Valley Trail. Enjoy half-day or full-day bike rentals and experience the countryside in a whole new way.

Wood Fired Pizza Night
Bring a ready-made pizza or the ingredients to make your own from scratch, and we’ll fire up our on-site pizza oven for two hours of delicious, wood-fired fun! Enjoy a laid-back evening with friends and family while creating your perfect pizza.
