200 acres of organic grass land & Moorland criss-crossed by streams and stone walls.
Game Lea a working farm with pedigree Aberdeen Angus beef cattle, Gloucester Old Spot pigs, free range hens and a small flock of rare breed sheep kept for both wool and meat. We have wildlife in abundance including Hares, Buzzards, Hawks, Skylarks, Lapwings and Curlews.
You are welcome to bring your horse lots of off road riding. Coming soon indoor arena (please ring for details and rates)

Bakewell , a medium sized market town on the River Wye, is dominated by the interwoven history of the Vernon and Manners families, while the weekly Monday livestock and open markets underline its rural setting. Surrounded by an amphitheatre of hills, Bakewell is famous for its agricultural show and the making of the renowned appetising tart.

Rock Climbing
Stanage is the largest and most impressive of the gritstone edges. Situated on the moors north of Hathersage, and visible from miles away down in the Hope Valley, it stretches for a length of approximately six kilometres (3.5 miles) from its northern tip at Stanage End to the southern point near the Cowper Stone. At about is mid-point the edge is crossed by Long Causeway, the old Roman road from Navio (Brough) to Doncaster. It is a famous location fro rock-climbing and a popular spot for walkers.
